It's time to raise the age old question who was the better horsemen member between Paul Roma and Steve "Mongo' McMichael? I think i have to give the edge to Roma on this one folks. Roma, i liked better with Paul Orndorf as the team of Pretty Wonderful better.Neither one needed to be a horsemen. Mongo should have just stayed in the football world!

The thing about Mongo is he wanted to be a horsemen. He acted genuinely proud to be a horsemen. He kept getting better, and I always thought that he enjoyed being a horsemen, and it meant a lot to him. Roma was a better wrestler, but he did not have a horsemen attitude.

McMichael was a better Horseman. He wasnt a good wrestler by any means, but theatrically he was o.k. He kind of fit the part.

McMichael was a better hoseman. He had a great attitude for a hoseman, but with his knees shot, he just couldn't do much in the ring.

Roma or Mongo shouldve never even been considered as members of the Horsemen! I agree with the above commit..." Both Sucked" !

Ric, Tully, Arn, and Barry were the best, but the original with Ole was hard to beat. And don't forget the creative genius, James J. Dillon.

Amen! I recall Slamboree 1993 held in the spring of that year when Flair came out and announced that he was putting the Horsemen back together. First, he introduces "The Enforcer" Double AA Arn Anderson - one of the original Four Horsemen. Great choice!
Next, he introduces Ole Anderson, another original member of the Four Horsemen. At this point (in the spring of 1993), Ole must have been about 44 years old but he was still a heck of a worker.
Then, he makes this bonehead move of introducing Paul Roma as a Horsemen. The crowd at the Omni that night basically said "Paul, who??" Roma was a mid 1980s WWF jobber who got a push in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a tag team first with Jim Powers in the Young Stallions (I bet Pat Patterson, Terry Garvin, and Mel Phillips liked that duo!!) and then with Hercules as Power & Glory. Neither tag team really made a mark.
