I was just wondering if it was one of them or maybe just somebody else using the outfit.

my first live event was at the WRAL Television Studios in Raleigh. I believe it was 1979 that I went and I know Rowdy Roddy Piper was on the card at the time. I was like 6 years old then, so I dont remember much more than that.

My first show was the night before Starcade '85 at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh. I remember this guy sitting near my family and me who kept talking about "going to Atlanta tomorrow night." Finally I realized he was talking about Starcade '85. The funny thing is if you watch the Starcade '85 tape, during the Flair - Dusty match, there is a guy yelling Dusty's name almost the whole match. At one point they cut to the guy and it's the guy who was in Raleigh the night my brother and I were there. We have a laugh about that 'til this day anytime someone mentions Dusty Rhodes.

My first card.....was in 1965 or 66....someone can probably pin it down... it was at the Richmond Fairgrounds.... and the main event was Weaver and Becker vs Bronco Lubich and Aldo Bogni I remember Aldo walked out with a towel around his neck and I being all of five or six years old...yelled out that he brought his crying towel with him. The people in our section a few rows back from the front row....went wild and I decided from then on to "share" my wisdom with the wrestlers and the fans....until the death of MY wrestling.....when Mid-Atlantic closed shop....
I miss those days more and more....

If I remember correctly my first live wrestling event was at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in 1972. The main event was Andre The Giant and Number One Paul Jones vs. Ric Flair and Johnny Valentine. I also remember that Charlie Cook and Bob Bruggers were also on the card. If anyone can pinpoint the exact date I would really appreciate it. All I can say is that it changed my life in a wonderful way. Gosh I miss the Mid-Atlantic!

The 1st live event I ever saw was at the old Charleston(S.C.) County Hall sometime in 1979. It had Jack Brisco over Roddy Piper as the main event. Also Pork Chop Cash and King Parsons over Pvt's. Don Kernodle and Jim Nelson. I canot remember much else as I was only a kid. But I did go on to see many, many more cards in Charleston as the years went by.

hey inca, glad to see you here. but by the names you listed here, that would be most likely in '81 instead of '79.

My first card was post-Mid Atlantic. It was in early 1990 at Bryndan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, NJ. The Mid-Atlantic territory was Virginia and the Carolinas and I grew up in NY.

I never got to see MACW or JCP live. I wasn't born until 1980 and lived in MO, and not near one of the major cities they would hit. I went to various indy shows, but my first WCW match was probably The Juicer vs Dutch Mantell. I have recollections of seeing Brody in the 80s in Falls City, NB (??) but I have never found documentation. I would've been 6 or 7.
