It's easy to overlook teams. I agree with you that they deserve to be up there, but I just forgot.

Gene and Ole Anderson are to tag team wrestling as to what Jesus is to the Bible.

I picked Ivan and Nikita. Most underrated tag team of the 80's. Manny Fernandez and Rick Rude were also underrated and overlooked.
I'm shocked no one picked the Road Warriors.

I voted (and for Ole & Gene), but if you're talking about the NWA (at least in the Carolinas / Virginia) and the long-term impact they created, the choices MUST include HAWK & HANSEN and BECKER & WEAVER. These guys had a TEN year run (and that's against each other, not counting against others).

I vote for Steamboat and Youngblood. They dominated tag team wrestling in VA/NC/SC in the early to mid 1980s

Gene & Ole Anderson set the standard for me.

No question, Ole and Gene Anderson. Of course, some great teams are listed in the poll but no team could match the run Ole and Gene had. They set the standard, in my opinion.

i just wanted to explain how i could vote for the mulky's. they weren't the best or strongest, etc. But well one of the bravest. Everyweek they wrestled against an overwhelming opponent and every week they lost and the fans loved to see them lose. But every week they wrestled agin for the love of the sport and competition. They are true competitors in my eyes.

Since George Becker and Johnny Weaver or Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson weren't on the list I voted for Ole and Gene!

Even if Becker and Weaver and Hawk and Hanson were on that list, I'd have voted for Ole and Gene!! ;D
