For it to happen, people need to work together from all across the country. Problem with that is that everybody wants their own thing. Plus, who would be the one person to oversee it all. There has to be some type of committee on that end if there's to be the territories again. If people band together, then it can happen. If there's too much selfishness, then it won't.
But Vince won't last forever. And even if HHH and Stephanie take over, which is likely, they won't be as powerful, IMO, as Vince has been.

WELL BOBBYRATES, I HOPE IT DOES BUT ACCORDING TO SOME OLD LEGENDS IT IS ALL BUT A DEAD ART. VINCE AIN'T GOD BUT MOST EVERYONE WORKING TODAY WANTS TO WORK FOR HIM TO GET ALL THAT $$$. SO I GUESS $$$ IS THE CULPRIT HERE AND VINCE HAS THE CASH IN WRESTLING SO HE IS TRULEY SATIN.

THATS A GOOD ATTITUDE, AND I HOPE TERRITORIES DO COME BACK AND VINCE'S COMPANY GO BANKRUPT.I KNOW IT'LL PROBABLY NEVER HAPPEN BUT I CAN HOPE I AM EVEN SHELLING OUT SOME $ TO WATCH THE ECW ONE NIGHT STAND PPV. ECW WAS MY FAVORITE FED OF ALL TIME. I AM CURIOUS TO SEE HOW MUCH WWE CAN SCREW IT UP. I DON'T WATCH ANY WWE AT ALL, I HATE SUPPORTING THE MAN WHO BROUGHT ABOUT THE END OF THE TERRITORIES .

i agre with you completely. but i am curious about this PPV. but i despise ECW and the concept of it. i think it helped destroy pro wrestling as it were. BUT, it was an enigma and still is. i would like this see this PPV. but i will pass. i don't want to spend a whole night on it. i've just been too busy lately and i need to rest and do neglected housework.

i enjoyed it the time i got to watch it but its like seeing tables/chairs/high spots every match does take the thrill out of it. It wont be what was originally advertised because "you know who's" ego wont allow it to outshine his product without his guys having to be involved in it in a major way

Though I am old school at heart, I loved ECW. I don't have PPV cababilities, but I plan to get a tape of all the recent ECW shows and releases. Rise & Fall of ECW was great. I went to ECW Heat Wave 98 and 99 and they were both hot shows. I got the pleasure of seeing Hayabusa in person.

Pro wrestling can survive the WWE if done right.
WWE, in my opinion, is not professional wrestling. It's entertainment that features wrestling, and that will never change.
One of the tricks to this business is to give the fans something they don't see anywhere else. If a promotion is giving the fans professional wrestling, as it says on the marquee, and does it right; it will sell becuase you don't see wrestling anymore.
The more promoters try to copy WWE, or push the extreme/ garbage wrestling, then wrestling as we know it will be lost.
