Favorite Wrestler - (as a kid watching then, no doubt) Dusty Rhodes and Wahoo McDaniel. Later, it was Ric Flair and Barry Windham.
Angle - The early Flair-Steamboat stuff when Flair rubbed Steamer's face in the mat.
Years - 1978-1984 (the Rhodes-Flair finish at Starrcade 84 was a big turnoff for me and I didn't follow wrestling as closely for the next couple years)

great angles, not sure of year:
boris malenko's cigar in the mighty igor's eye. paul jones-baron von raschke painting jay youngbloods back with a yellow streak.
'78- the hat and robe angle '79- ric flair attacking buddy rogers and pounding his ear '80- the match where jimmy snuka-ray stevens "broke" jay youngblood's leg as they won the NWA world tag belts from him and ricky steamboat. '81- ole anderson sacrificing gene in a match to keep the tag titles. '82-i think it was late '82 (may have been early '83)when flair-greg valentine beat up roddy piper and burned his face on the mat and the floor. '83-valentine popping piper in the head to win the US title. '84-the koloffs turning on don kernodle. '85-you need to ask?? the night that the andersons-flair attacked dusty rhodes in the cage. this lead to the formation of the four horsemen. '86- magnum TA punching NWA president bob geigle. '87-stan lane becoming a member of the midnight express.
extra credit: '88-dennis condrey-randy rose-paul e dangerously attacking bobby eaton-stan lane-jim cornette on tv.

i can't remember years either but as far as my favorite wrestler, it has always been flair. from the time he entered as rip hawks partner rambling ric complete with those big sunglasses and those wild wrestling trunks with the butterflies on them, to his present day adventures. favorite angle would be the thousand silver dollar matches that johnny valentine issued. favorite feud would be the feuds that greg valentine and wahoo used to have. these two even wrestled eachother back in the early nineties in lexington virginia's horse center. my friends and i walked in with valentine right through the front door. wahoo and my friends and i talked all during the prelim matches up until his match with greg. wahoo was very gracious in his talk with us he talked about fishing amd i think about playing golf. that scar over his eye from the famous table leg match with flair came up. he laughed and said the nail wasn't supposed to be there. but when those two hooked up in that ring in the middle of a horse center, it was just like the old days of the mid atlantic. the chops and the hammer blows left both men a bloody mess. this continued on in the battle royal where they continued to maul eachother. wahoo had come back to the ring with a bandage on his head. who won the battle royal u may ask. a young rob van dam.

Gosh, Clayton, your post brings back a lot of great personal memories of Wahoo. I promoted that show at the horse center. It was during the fair -- Rockbridge Fair, I believe it was called. Wahoo vs. Valentine or Wahoo vs. Manny were on 90% of my shows then and I was always proud to say no one ever left saying wrestling was fake after watching Wahoo and Hammer (or Fernandez) beat each other in the main events.
