to be honest i never got to see this great promotion
until the last few years
so i'll say 19 78
my fave wrestler
paul orndorff
the first time i saw him was in 78 79
it was right after he and snuka won the tag belts
it was in inside wrestling magazine
so i've followd his carrer ever since
i knew that he would be a superstar
take care

Favorite Angle: Kurt (just kidding) It has to be Sting joining the 4 Horsemen; then getting kicked out. Also enjoyed Windham turning on Luger, Nikita's face turn, and all the hundreds of attacks on Dusty Rhodes.
Favorite year: This is a tie: 1986 - 1989
Favorite Wrestler(s) Ric Flair, Sting, Dusty, Tully Blanchard, and The Road Warriors

Juanita, If you have that year in review tape from 78, its a real treat because I believe Paul is interviewed twice on there. You can see he is still working on his promo skills, but he's getting there and certainly had perfected those skills in MidSouth.
If you dont have the year in review, let me give Dixie a plug here. He has a really good dvd version copy of it and Sam is great to do business with.

I was way over for:
Mulligan/Flair vs. Jones/Von Raschke. And Flair tripping over Von Raschke on the suplex...Jones falling on him and pinning. KILLED ME at the time. Ha!
Ernie Ladd's taped thumb was great.....
Rogers getting his ear pummeled by Flair was great, but Snuka's interview immediately after was better...(since he was being "hypnotized" by Rogers..)
Said Snuka..."Duh duh duh duh duh"
Mid Atlantic / World Wide was priceless.

Favorite Wrestler: Tully Blanchard (in my eyes, one of the most gifted technical wrestlers of all time)
Favorite Year: Would probably be a toss up between 84 and 85
Favorite Angle: Barry Windham's heel turn...........then on with his fued with Dusty
You'd think as much as i mention Barry, i'd picked him as my favorite wrestler but the SuperBrat took it hands down
