Most people use there own cameras, so if the talent cost is $1000, and you sold each item at $5, you would have to have 500 customers just to break even. Most shows do not draw that many people, plus some people would not be interested in that guest. You would lose money on that price. Percy must have cost SAW over $1200, I hope they made back their money, but I can't see how they did it. Plain and simple you have to have lots and lots of fans at a show to expect to cover a nut of $1000 or more at $5 an item. Wrestling does not tend to draw that many people. Put it this way if a vendor takes a bath on a guest, that vendor most likely will not try again. Our price was based on each guys nut to cover, if we lost money, we would not come to the upcoming Georgia and charlotte shows. I have said it a millon times, I have no problem breaking even, but I do not want to lose money. I would think any fan would agree with this, if the cost was down I would charge $5 but its not ,airfare is hundreds, hotel cost and most talent do not come out for less than $500, not to mention our time, gas, and picture costs. Thats the reality of the situation. Its not us its the cost involved. But again I enjoy and want all your feedback

But again I enjoy and want all your feedback Thanks Ken K&S PROMOTIONS With math like that, it's no wonder you came up with your prices. You just tried to sell us on the fact that 500 people times $5 a pop = $1000 break even. How about 200 people X $5 a pop... don't sell wrestling fans that short in the intelligence department. You really don't seem to see the concept of bulk buying. You have all these people telling you that if the price had been more reasonable, they would have been up there. You make up in bulk what you are losing in jacked prices. Costco? Sam's? BJ's? I'm in Lindenhurst, you're in Amityville. I can drive the 10 minutes over and crunch some numbers with you if you'd like. I have an MBA, so you can trust me. The people at SAW had it right, and they had a big line. Snuka's line was immense and they were affordable. Bundy had a big line, prices clearly marked, and did well. Poffo was a nice guy to me, but his handler lied. I asked how much for a picture and auto. He said $10. He signed an 8X10 and I went back for the pic, and he said "oh you wanted both, that's 20." This was after he saw the $100 bill I was giving him... crook. The only one worth the exaggerated pricing was Buddy Roberts, since he is so rare. He had a line despite the pricing. Ahmed Johnson, there's no way I'm giving a former pimp my money for his auto... sorry buddy. I understand business, but you made out... be straight with us.

No need to be so upset, its been a long day and I screwed up. I know $5 x 500 is not $1000, just a mistake, 200 fans shelling out $5 per item is also very tough to get, I really do not understand why the hostility. I understand bulk buying, but I would rather worry about a smaller number of people paying the price , than hope for many people paying a smaller price. And we made a small profit by no means did we make out. I am sorry for the mistake in my previous post, but I in no way was trying to con people. Your post seems very angry, why would I con someone with what was a obvious mistake. I am sorry you did not like our prices, you should have taken advantage of the mail order deal. I think some people on here want to start a fight, which there is no need for.

I can't speak for how much wrestlers cost to bring in and all of that. I also cannot speak for who made money and who didn't. All I can do is comment on my vendor experiences...
Best Deal--- 1) Larry Zbyszko---I asked the guy what I got for a $12.00 package. He said I could get a signed picture, a signed polaroid, and 2 of my own items signed. I asked if I could substitute my own camera instead of the polaroid. He said he would do both (polaroid and my own camera) without adding to the price. I gladly took him up on that offer and bought 2 trading cards for $1.00 each of Larry Zbyszko from him as well to be "my items" (one included Baby Doll, so I was figured that would be a bonus since I only had one picture for her to sign). Great deal.
Good Deal--- 2) Percy Pringle---2 signed pictures and a picture with my camera for $10.00. Another good deal. Percy was also the first guy to tell me to make sure the picture came out on my digital camera and if it didn't, he would take another one. I do that anyway, but I that it was great for him to say that.
Not a good deal, but my own fault--- 3) Tito Santana---This was my fault. I assumed that a picture with my camera would be $5.00, so I went up and asked for a signed picture and photo which I was expecting to be $15.00....it was a total of $20.00. Too much, but it was my own fault for not asking before hand. I have always been a fan of Tito and wanted to meet him for a long time...so an extra five dollars didn't ruin my weekend, but I still think that a $10.00 for a picture with your own camera is too much.
Those are my experiences with the vendors. I hope they all did well.

It all comes down to what the star means to you... at our local mall we have had Kurt Angle for $50 with a line down the hall , same with Ric Flair , they just had HBK for $30 and it was also insane and mobbed. They had Hurricane a few years back for $10 and no one showed up. I did not pay the Ahmed or Buddy Roberts prices but I wasn't bothered by them being there either. Of course on Feb 14th they had JBL for $25.00 autographed polaroids and I was one of 10 customers in that 2 hours... But I would've paid $100 without even blinking cause' I think JBL is cool.

Easy everyone I didn't put this post up to have a pissing contest, I put it up for some feedback. We try are best to give you fans something. I understand we can't make everyone happy but we do the best we can. Ken made a mistake with his addition it wasn't trying to fool anyone. It was a honest mistake not being a crook as someone put it.

I want to say that I respect and understand what everyone is saying on this board. We are sorry that some people thought that our prices were to high. Others understood, and had no problem with it. That's the way life goes, everyone has an opinon. When we go the the next Fanfests, we will try to keep the price down as much as possiable. We will have a great deal that you can preorder, when the time comes. Thanks Ken K&S PROMOTIONS

Being a business owner I can see both sides of this. While his math was faulty and he admitted that he made a mistake, there is a lot more involved int the cost of the guest than just their fee.
Cost of the guest: Their fee, hotel, travel, food and some other things. Cost to the vendors: Booth fee, hotel, travel expense, food, inventory of items to be signed (8x10s, poloroids, figures, videos, magazines and other items) plus other things that I'm sure happen.
Usually there is more involved than we realize and I'm glad that the vendors all came and brought the guests. Too high, maybe but so was breakfast at the hotel. Just the way it goes and it's up to everybody to decide what they can afford.
Glad you made a profit and I did get every autograph over the weekend.

They were all class acts by me. We recorded some little interviews with Buddy, Stevie and Boris at the Fanfest. Buddy was great to see, his eyes lit up when talking about wrestling and the fans. Cool when you can tell the wrestlers really enjoy and appreciate the fans.

I greatly appreciate the effort in getting additional wrestlers to the booths, and I think the prices were fine. It is great to have the opportunity to purchase autographs from a wrestler brought in by a vendor who otherwise would not be at the show. Thanks to K & S for making the effort and bringing in wrestlers.

I totally missed Buddy Roberts - I didn't see him once. I would've paid for a photo and a sig. I assumed he no-showed until Yates told me that he saw him earlier. No one that I know even got to see him. Think it shoulda been made clearer what times he was gonna be there....
