Even though I couldn't come in the end I think that you have created a real air of quality about yourselves.
Rather than the usual old tired stale guests you guys went out of your way to bring in fresh and quality new faces - having Johnson and especialy Roberts was just quality thinking.
I wish that other vendors would learn from you - I have been to a few shows in the States and seeing the vendors bring in guests is painful sometimes.

I have one negative comment. The quality of the photos. Sorry but they were just terrible. I can make better quality photos on my $100 HP printer. Even Virgil had better quality photos.

while i am so thankful you brought buddy roberts in, i have one problem that not only K&S did, but just about every other vendor guest had going on. i have talked this out with your buddy brad and we do not agree. my problem is charging me $15 for somebody to sign MY OWN book. it's not like you are supplying a photo or anything. all it takes is about 5 or 10 seconds to write their name in my book or any other item a person brings in, and that's it. hey, i don't get folks that charge $5 so i sure am not getting them for $15. i did buddy roberts, BUT THAT WAS IT. only out of neccessity. but that kept me from going to boris and ahmed johnson. or even tito and poffo or any of the rest brought in by others. i needed tito and bundy to sign my book. but i am not going to pay that kind of price to sign something i already own unless i am desperate. right now, i can't think of anyone i haven't met that hasn't signed my book that's still alive that i would pay for.

We understand what you are saying but its not about the item they sign its about getting their autograph. These guys don't come cheap as they get pay, airfare and hotel. We do our best to get a deal for the fans and make a little money for ourselves. Trust me we don't get rich on this stuff we enjoy doing it but don't want to lose money either. As for the picture quality we have checked into better quality but again it's all about price. We try and get something decent to keep the fans price down. Thank you guys for the feedback . I screwed up on our website earlier so here it is www.kandswrestlefest.comSteve

I agree totally about the Prices being HIGH! Sorry to be negative.I realize the Cost of bringing in talent is HIGH but your prices kept me from getting any Autos from your promotions..I think maybe you could make as many $$$ if you priced like SAW or Mid Atlantic wrestling and allowed everyone a chance to purchase AUTOs.I know of several people that didnt purchase other items from your table because they felt your Auto prices were "Outrageous".I hope you will consider this for the Next Fanfest...Thanks

This is always going to be an issue with vendor guests, I suppose it is the nature of the business. The wrestlers want a guaranteed payday so instead of going in business for themselves they use middlemen who front the expenses but that adds to the cost. I can't figure out a good way to do it either. You can lower the price and hope to make it up on volume, or you can price high & only need to get a certain percentage of the crowd to do OK. That said, I agree that I can not see paying $15 for anybody for just scribbling their name on my item. I have turned down wrestlers at events where there was no clear policy on free autographs (most signed free, but a couple charged) at $5 per item. Some I might pay $5 for, but not those particular ones. I think the best deal was in Charlotte last time where they had Molly and Ivory both together for a set fee for a photo and you could include a decent quality signed picture for a couple additional dollars. To me the way for a vendor to do well at one of these shows is to bring in a current star or "diva" that would probably get gripes about putting them on the main stage and charge a reasonable amount for them like the guy who brought Molly & Ivory in did.

I understand what everyone is saying, and we value your opinions. Our price is based on what the overhead is for each signing. We hope to be at the Georgia and Charlotte fanfests next year, and bring more of the rare guests to those shows. In PA Goldust will at Bud Carson's Pro wrestling World on Satrday September 16 signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans. Call me at 516 473-4944 with any questions. He will also be wrestling that night in NJ for Gino Caruso's ECPW. Go to www.ECPW1.net for more info on that show. Just also wanted to remind everyone that we had a mail order combo price for Buddy and Stevie at last weeks show. For $45 you got a autographed polroid and autographed 8x10 from each guy, and 4 additional items to be autographed. That's 8 items which makes it a little over $5 each item. That was a great deal to take advantage of. Thanks Ken K&S PROMOTIONS

true, but when you don't really want all the combo items....granted, that is a deal if you are interested in all that, and i'm sure many may be. but for me personally...you see my point.

I definitely agree with Bobby here.I was very interested in getting Tito's auto, but passed also after the guy told me the prices. It was $10 if he signed my own item, one of their items, took a picture with my own camera,or a picture with there camera.I just don't get the pricing if you use your own camera or own item.It would seem if you use your own camera or item, the price should be cheaper or at least a combo price.I liked how the group that brought Percy handled it.They were very fair on prices.
