Does anyone know if we will have to pay for parking at this hotel, or is parking free? If so, how much?

Underground parking is available at a cost of $5/day. See hotel info!

that would suck having to pay for parking if you are already a guest at the hotel LOL Remember guys, we're in a pretty big metropolitan area and in places like that, it's not uncommon to have to pay for parking, especially at the nicer hotels. Nothing like having to pay $20 to park at a downtown Charlotte hotel, though.

Metro is free only on weekends. So if you arrive Friday afternoon you have to pay. But evening should be ok.
UPDATE: I just called the hotel. It's $8.50/day, not $5

UPDATE: I just called the hotel. It's $8.50/day, not $5 Per our contract with the hotel, parking is $5 per day. (Even though parking is $8.50 for everyone else normally.)

By the way how do they give us the $5 parking? Do we just say we're with the legends fest?

$5 is squat!!
I got hit with a $30/night charge in downtown Chicago and $25 the next night in Cincy. Of course I only stay at the finest 5 star establishments (which I buy for 3 star prices online), but the parking made the "bargain" online rates not so bargainy.

There are these car parks in London called NCP (a company that I believe have a monopoly on parking lots in Central London). They charge £27 (circa $52) per night (or if you don't wanna stay that long you can a more expensive hourly rate of about $10 an hour)....
Failing that - if you want to use a parking meter its 20p (37c) per 3 minutes. So five bucks overnight is practically free.....

Pretty simple actually: You have a car? you like it? you want it destroyed while it sits on the street b/c you were too cheap to fork over 20 bucks? DIDNT THINK SO!!!! Pay the cash, it's better than the alternative.
