I do agree Jake Roberts would make a good addition for the fest. I do like the idea of The Midnights vs. Heavenly Bodies match (with Cornette stuck in the middle to decide). I would say have Rock and Roll vs. Fantastics as well on the show. The idea for the Midnights vs. Heavenly Bodies came this past year as it was trying to be organized for the Mark Curtis Memorial but some of the people could not make it so it got scrapped so why not have it in Rockville if it does not happen by this time next year. Good suggestion stingmark, look forward to seeing you in MD. Look forward to seeing everyone again for that matter.

those last 2 posts are GREAT. I'd love to see any of those matches. RNR vs MX vs Fant in a 3-way has never been done before ANYWHERE. Bodies would be great for it too.

I would not want to see David Schultz invited to a fanfest. What he did to John Stossel was totally wrong and uncalled for. I hope Greg has the sense not to book a lowlife like that for the next fanfest.

well back then you did not openly question whether wrestling was "FAKE" or not. Also who is to say that whole incident wasnt a work.

John Stossel lost his hearing in one ear over that incident, how could it be a work? Whether or not McMahon told Schultz to do it, Schultz should've used better judgement than to slap a mainstream reporter. What did Schultz prove? John Stossel was a little peanut of a man. No one could prove anything by beating up the scrawny reporter. I still say it would be a bad idea to invite Schultz to fanfest.

Here are some names for the fanfest in Rockville: Chief Jay Strongbow, Pedro Morales, Bobby Heenan, Captain Lou Albano, Don Muraco, Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito, Ivan Putski, Iron Shiek, Pat Patterson, Ken Patera, S.D. Jones. All of the above mentioned names went through the Maryland area back in the day!

as far as WWF talent goes. Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Bobby Heenan, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Marty Jannetty, Animal (doubt he will be with WWE still in August), Bushwhackers/Sheepherders, Lance Storm, Mick Foley come to mind. I know Foley might not be possible since he's back with WWE.
NWA guys - Rock N Roll, Midnight, FANTASTICS, Tim Horner, Tracy Smothers, Barry Windham (I know, I know), Mike Jackson, Ric Flair, Michael Hayes, Terry Taylor, and as already mentioned, Animal, Steamboat and the Sheeps. The Armstrongs (Steve, Scott, Bob and Brad).
Wildcard picks (guys not affiliated with either) - Sabu, Tom Prichard, Jimmy Delray, Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony.

Have Stan turn on Tom and go with MX? ;D I say a 3 way would be sweet. Say what you will about Jake, but not only is it a good thing possibly getting him on the card, he deserves it. Why? as I said, sayy what you will, he was one of the biggest heels in the biz and made ALOT of folks ALOT of cash in his day. PLus, he doesn't do too many FF's, thats why it'd be cool to see him there. I'm a huge Jake fan, I'd love to see him there. THere's still some Jake fans, case in point: the tremendous POPs he got when he showed in WWE a while back.

Hey - if David Schultz was there, perhaps he could rekindle his classic tag team with Eddie Mansfield for one more match!! Maybe 'Big' Jim Wilson could manage them?? Or maybe Wilson could team with Tommy Rich to face them (could call themselves The Barnett Boys!!). I kill me....

How about these two dream matches if possible- a six man tag with the Midnight Express(Condrey,Eaton &Lane)with Corny vs the US Express (Windham, Rotondo & Spivey) with Cap Lou. And the Rock 'n Roll Express vs the Dream Team(Valentine & Beefcake) with Johnny V.

RNR vs Dream Team actually took place last year at the botched (non-Fanfest) convention in Indianapolis.
Rock N Roll could wrestle anyone and I'd be happy. Still, a 3-way with MX and Fantastics would be my choice.
