What ever became of Austin Idol?
Man did that guy have some feuds in Mid South. I dont think he ever came to JCP or even Georgia Championship Wrestling, But I always remember seeing this guy on Mid South cards in Feuds with Randy Savage and Jerry Lawler.

My brother he was in JCP and Ga....quite good on the stick too. Retired now in P'Cola Fla. Before he was Austin Idol he was Mike McCord. The only pproblem was he an Flair looked so much a like and of course there's only one Flair. Also, not every one knows thiis ..he was in a serious car accident at one point and had really bad knees and ankles.His Quote of many " The womens pet and the mens regret...the moving violation of womens imagination!"

Idol held the U.S. title briefly in Mid Atlantic. And he was a regular in Georgia for a long while.

Austin Idol was not the US champion in the Mid-Atlantic area.

I seem to recall him being Dennis McCord at one time while at JCP.
