This studio shot from channel 8 is fantastic!Do any

You can probably tell by the photo that this was not
a very large studio.You can see a couple of rows of fans
in the photo and there was also a couple of rows to the
right of the ring.Charlie's desk was to the left of where
they are standing.The wall behind his desk had pictures
of the wrestlers who were on the roster at the time.
To the right of Charlie's desk was an easel with event
posters for the weekly Saturday night shows at the
YMCA in Lexington,NC and upcoming shows in Winston-
Salem and Greensboro.The camera would zoom in on
the poster briefly during interviews like you see here.
Rip Hawk would always thank Charlie for being one of
Rip and Swede's biggest supporters during every
interview they ever did.Charlie would always laugh just
as he is here in this photo.

Hi, I like this old picture very much and classic too. This picture might have been taking between 1963 to 1966.
I have never see this picture before. Patsy is a long time wrestling fan and collector. I hope Patsy has some more old 1960`s Mid-Atlantic pictures in the wrestling collection so Patsy can put the pictures on this board in the future to let lots of old wrestling fans to look at them. Oh wow. I've always wanted to know what the WGHP studio looked like, and Charlie Harville from back in the day. I had seen him on the TV news growing up, but that was after channel 8 had quit taping their own wrestling. Greta photo, thanks to everyone involved.
