...for a great weekend.
I, personally, had a blast.
Great Q&A's, great matches, smoothly-run autograph sessions, good vendors.
Lots of time to socialize and to just have fun.

This was my first time to travel from Northern Virginia down to Charlotte for a Fanfest and let me say it exceeded all expectations. I took my wife and daughter along and they toiled along the pool and nearby shops while my 9 year old son and I reveled in all things old school wrestling the entire weekend. If anything didn't go smoothly, I sure didn't know about it. All the wrestlers who were supposed to be there, were there. All lines went smoothly and swiftly. The Sat night matches were top notch. No lines to pick up our passes on Friday afternoon and the Q&A's I attended were entertaining. Most of the wrestlers who hung around the Hilton were more than happy to pose for pictures and sign whatever you asked or just free to chat about the memories for a minute or two. The vendors had a decent array of items as I was able to pick up a couple things I didn't expect to find. I encourage anyone who has never attended one of Greg's functions to do so. My family and I had a great time. Hope to see most of you next August in Maryland for next year's event. The only thing that could've made the weekend any better was if I could've stayed around for Bret's Q&A and tonight's matches. Oh, and if we had ice on the 9th floor and a parking place in the hotel lot!!

I can't wait for next year already. It was a great time as usual. I haven't missed one of these yet. I blew all my money on the vendors in like 10 minutes on Friday, so I had no money for polaroids or anything the rest of the weekend!
It sucks because I REALLY wanted a picture with Heenan and Hart. I literally had 20 bucks left for the 5 hour drive home to cover gas and food. I was tired and had a long drive, so I left before Bret's Q&A. I hope someone posts a review of that and the matches tonight.
It was great to meet the people I did, and to meet some real cool guys I hung out with these past 3 days!
