started off a little slow and the crowd took some time to warm up......or liquor up whichever is the case........
The AMW/Naturals match was awesome and the crowd was way into it......if TNA can get a decent TV time slot and maintain that kind of reaction over a period of time they could be barking up WWE's tree in a few more years.
The Rnr Express/Midnight Express match was also really good with Cornette providing some quality entertainment. It was the longest match I have seen the teams do since they've been going at it again for the last year or so.
Anderson/Armstrong was good. Petey/Elix was great too. Timber proved his abilities even though he lost to Kid Kash.
All in a all a very, very good and entertaining show.....
You can all thank me for insisting that matches be held this year.
And you are welcome. ;D

I agree with the previous posting that the matches were great...all seven of them.
I'd like to specifically recognize the other matches not mentioned:
ESCOBAR / BRAD THOMAS GEORGE SOUTH JR. / JASON JONES
4 young men who are all well on their way in the business.
My first time seeing ESCOBAR, but already a big fan of BRAD, JASON, and GEORGE SOUTH WHO???...George South JUNIOR.

I thought the matches were pretty good too. The crowd was all knowledglable wrestling fans and industry people. In other words, a pretty tuff crowd that would not have accepted junk. All the matches went well but I thought AMW and the Naturals was the best of all. It was my first time seeing Brad Anderson, and he was ok, but he was given a lot of leeway by the fans because of who he is. He could have a big future in the buisness if he continues to improve because he has the foundation (athletic build, wrestling heritage, and an interesting story with the Anderson boots and ring jacket

Just Curious but did any of you guys check out the convention? If so how was it? Were there any other special guests there at vendor tables?!

Extra special "celebrities" I saw were David Flair, Missy Hyatt, and Tammy Fytch (or whatever), and Bambi.

Dusty Rhodes also made a Saturday appearance. I was hoping to pick up some rare house show footage to add to my collection but found the vendor offering to be a little thin, or mostly stuff that I already had. I thought Brad Armstrong looked great against Brad Anderson. Timber and Kid Cash were good. I was diappointed in the Petey/Elix match, other than that the entire card was solid. AMW are for real!! Their match with the naturals was a real good one. Wish I could have stuck around for tonight's matches.

The overall card was great! It was my first time seeing the TNA guys as I do not watch it but they were good. Brad Armstrong vs. Brad Anderson was a great match with plenty of "OLD SCHOOL" action. I thought George South Jr. and Jason Jones proved they can wrestle as good as any of these guys today and Brad Thomas put on a heck of a show against the Escobar guy. As always the Midnight's vs. the R-N-R was great with huge pops from the fans! Great idea to add matches as they were all good!

Yes, it was definitely great card, not enough matches though. LOL.
Cornette and the Midnights got more cheers than the R&R's, even though Corny was trying to bust out the heel moves in this classic 80's style match. When he hit Morton with the racket, the pop was awesome, I admit I stood up and cheered.
What was the card like tonight?

awesome show! Brad Armstrong and BRad Anderson worked a really good match. I met both of them during the weekend and they both seemed to be really good guys as well. The world tag team title match was incredible. AMW & The Naturals IMHO are the two best tag teams in wrestling right now. I talked to AMW in the lobby Sunday morning and they were cool. Midnight vs. Rock n Roll was entertaining. All the wrestlers did a good job and I wasnt disappointed with any of the matches at all.

Armstrong VS Anderson was the high point of the weekend for me. I think that match was something special. Its been a long time since a match gave me chills. I hope they wrestle each other again soon.

For me Rock'n Roll vs the Midnites was the best. The whole show was awesome, but their match sent shivers down my spine and gave me goosebumps thinking i had travelled back in time to 1986! The TNA guys were AWESOME!!!!!! AMW are terrfic! Had to leave before Sundays matches started, so i was sorry to miss AJ wrestle, but got to meet him for autograph and photo.
