Will the guys have the silver pens to sign with if we have a picture with a dark background?
If not, I would have to get one.

I have seen some with silver, but a very few. A lot use mostly black or blue. Dusty Rhodes signs with blue. I always carry a silver sharpie,as well as a black one, just in case.

If you do get Silver, make sure you get good quality and also use them and get the fluid flowing before you hand then to the signer. Otherwise you will get skipping and poor quality autographs.
Most collectors will warn that some of the heavier silver and golds will eventaully flake off.
