For the first time ever, the NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest will feature live wrestling matches as part of the 3-day weekend festivities August 19-21 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The matches will take place Saturday night, August 20, and will feature a mix of wrestling legends and "future legends." Those confirmed thus far include the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette, the Rock-n-Roll Express, The Barbarian, Tracy Smothers, Brad Armstrong, America's Most Wanted, current NWA World Tag Team champions The Naturals, Kid Kash, Elix Skipper, Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Timber, Brad Thomas and Brad Anderson. There will be more names -- and matchups -- announced as we get closer to fanfest weekend. General Admission tickets to Saturday night's wrestling matches are just $15 and are on sale now at www.NWALegends.com/tickets.htm. These tickets are very limited. looking good thus far....Kash is a nice surprise since last I heard he was starting in WWE developmental. Never heard of Timber though. Can someone fill me in?

Awesome! I would love to meet Petey, Sabin, Skipper, AMW, and The Naturals. I met Kash when he was in ECW. Nice guy. I hope they are available for pics and autographs before or after the matches! Has to get VIP tickets ASAP!!!  |

Timber is from North Carolina. He's worked the indies here in the Carolinas and Tennessee mostly. He's also worked at all of Greg's fanfest as a security guy. Big guy, probably 6-4, 6-5, around 300-325 pounds.

America's Most Wanted are one of the tag teams in TNA that remind of me the old school tag teams as far as being a "unit." They are great wrestlers to boot as and they are always great against The Naturals. Skipper, Kash and Petey Willams aren't too shabby either and Chris Sabin stole the show at the last TNA PPV with his match against Samoa Joe.
And of course I don't have to tell anyone on this board how great the R&R Express and Midnight Express are, but I thought it was important to give a plug to th new guys who definitely deserve it.
