Is Bret Hart Confirmed?

Hey,

Dave Meltzer in his latest observer bacically says that Bret Hart is still in italy and not 100% for the fanfest. Is there any truth at all to this?

Scott, I don't read Meltzer but, if you do, maybe you can post the EXACT words that he used.

Yes, Bret is in Italy and he just remarried from what I understand, but I have a commitment from him to be at fanfest in August.

It's funny how crap like this doesn't pop up until another convention promoter books Bret for his gig a week later and then starts trying to spread rumors hoping he can sell a few more tickets to his more-expensive get-together.

"Bret Hart has confirmed appearing on the Wrestle Reunion 2 tribute to Bruno Sammartino in Valley Forge, PA on 8/27 & 8/28. He will also be appearing on a Scott D'Amore show on 7/22 in Windsor, ONT. He is advertised for a Greg Price Mid Atlantic reunion, but at press time, that was not confirmed but it is something both sides have talked about. Hart is still in Italy."

as much as i enjoy bill apter and ddp, i just think its very intentional on their or whomevers part to schedule another event in the same region and within a week of another big show, seems they might be worried about gregs events.

Bret Hart IS CONFIRMED for fanfest, regardless of what anyone says.
