The subject says it all, I reckon. Just wondering who was going to be actually wrestling. When will you have at least a tentative card posted? Soon maybe?

Cool. Can't wait to find out. It will secure whether or not my co-worker is going (or if we do all three days or just that Saturday.)

Cool. Can't wait to find out. It will secure whether or not my co-worker is going (or if we do all three days or just that Saturday.) Okay. Actually, I'm sad to hear that Saturday night's matches would determine whether or not someone attended fanfest. There are sooooo many other things at fanfest besides one night of wrestling. I am particularly pleased with what I believe is a strong lineup of "future legends" and I have no doubt it will be the most solid non-WWE wrestling card in the Carolinas in a long time. The matches, again, are built around "future legends" and, besides the Midnight Express, I don't anticipate any other "legends" to be wrestling.

I agree with ya on that. I think it would be great to do the whole weekend. I know that there's no way I could stay at the Hilton any of those days. I have too many responsibilities at home to stay away even over night. More or less we're probably going to come on at least one of those days, though we may do the whole weekend. The only way I won't be there at all is if I can't fit it in my budget, and I'm hoping that's not the case. I won't be able to get a ticket until the last minute though, so my number in line would be pretty high, which sucks, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I didn't mean to imply that the wrestling was the most important thing about the weekend. But, by the same token, my buddy and I get to see wrestling so rare, that the matches are kind of one of the things we're looking forward to. It'll be cool meeting everyone and whatnot, but I'm not big on the whole autograph/meeting celebrities and whatnot. I reckon I'm weird like that, hehe.

Seeing the Midnight Express in action is worth the price of admission to me.

Ace:
I know what you mean about the tight budget. Money is tight for everyone. I also understand about the autographs, too. I couldn;t see myself standing in line for autographs.
Have you been to fanfest before? If not, believe me, it's EVERYTHING ELSE that will blow you away. Probably the best part of the weekend is being surrounded and interacting with hundreds of other folks that live and die for the same stuff you do.
99 bucks gets you everything for the entire weekend. I hope you can make it. And I promise, the wrestling card on Saturday night will be the best wrestling card top-to-bottom in these parts in ages. I know that a lot of promoters make that claim often, but I am ecstatic over the quality of "future legends" that will be showcased here. More on that later...

Oh hell yeah, if I'm there I'll LYK way in advance so as to meet up with many of you. My responsibilities are basically things I have no control over (not to mention that money doesn't fall out of my ass, and getting a room at the Hilton ain't cheap, hehe) so staying over night is certainly a definite nope. But I don't live too far away from Charlotte to come all three days (or at least one.) We will probably do at least one day though. I'll keep ya posted.

Ace: I know what you mean about the tight budget. Money is tight for everyone. I also understand about the autographs, too. I couldn;t see myself standing in line for autographs. Amen to that brother! I don't mind standing in line for an autograph depending on who it is. Besides, I don't go to these events for this for that. I go to see the spectacle and the people there. Have you been to fanfest before? If not, believe me, it's EVERYTHING ELSE that will blow you away. Probably the best part of the weekend is being surrounded and interacting with hundreds of other folks that live and die for the same stuff you do. I have been to several KISS Expo's over the years, and I would imagine that this will be similiar to that except instead of KISS it'll be wrestling. I really do wanna go pretty bad (so does my buddy) it's just about logistics right now, though (and money.) 99 bucks gets you everything for the entire weekend. I hope you can make it. And I promise, the wrestling card on Saturday night will be the best wrestling card top-to-bottom in these parts in ages. I know that a lot of promoters make that claim often, but I am ecstatic over the quality of "future legends" that will be showcased here. More on that later... That's cool. And I don't want it to seem that I'm being all skeptical about this, because I'm not. I have a blast coming to this board every day, so I can only imagine what it will be like being at this thing and seeing/meeting everyone (and I generally have fun at these sort of things.) I dunno, I guess maybe my thing is this: I was only into wrestling for a few years when I was younger, then got out of it for many, many years. I only recently got back into it, whereas it seems like most of ya'll have been into it all along. I'll admit, I don't know some of the names of the folks that are lined up to be there, others I only know by name, and then there are those that are like, "OMG, I remember them!" So yeah, I am excited, but maybe I;m coming off as not so, lol. And I definitely don't wanna seem like I don't appreciate (and understand) what you got going on with this. I knew the guy who ran the several of the KISS Expo's and they ain't easy (or cheap) to do. So I think it's great, and really wanna come, but we just gotta wait and see. ;D

June 1 is the day after tomorrow and you said we can expect match lists in early June. Do you know how early? We're still a couple weeks away -- maybe more -- from making an announcement on the wrestling matches. I will probably update the website to say the matches should be announced by early July. I know everyone is growing a little impatient, but the wrestling landscape is constantly changing. I don't want to announce matches or participants now, only to have that change in the coming weeks. So, thanks for your patience and please allow me just a little bit of extra time in announcing the card. Thanks! Greg

thanks for letting us know. I don't mind waiting so much since I know that Rock N Roll and MX will both be wrestling on the card.
