Anyone know anything about the Carowinds Theme Park? Is it pretty good? It says it is about 20 miles from the Hilton.

Hey there! Carowinds is a great Theme Park. Granted it has been about three years since I have been but it was great. Lots of roller coasters and water rides. Top Gun, Vortex, and Thuder Road are the best ones. Give it a shot I think you will enjoy it.

we're definitely going to try and go on one of our days in Charlotte prior to Fanfest.
The park, combined with Fanfest ticket purchase determing your place in line (eliminating wait) actually has her excited about going.

Carowinds is very cool.......Especially for the family....I haven't been in a couple of years but the last time i went, i had a BLAST........If you are into Christian music like myself you'll find Carowinds very cool in the summer when they have Christian music day......

I think it's cool that the Water Park is included in the general admission ticket. We're not so lucky at Worlds of Fun in KC, as they are sold seperately.
