Advance tickets for the August fanfest will be available online beginning next Friday, August 1.
New this time around, VIPs will lineup based on when you purchase your ticket. This has been done at other conventions and the response has been very good. This will eliminate the need to RUSH to wait in line. (If anyone has any questions about this, please let me know.)
There will be 3 days of fanfest weekend. Doors will open to the public at 1 p.m. on Friday (VIPs in at Noon.) The tentative schedule calls for VIP Q&A sessions on Friday night, live wrestling matches on Saturday night, and our first-ever Sunday afternoon Q&A.
Fanfest Single-day tickets will be $39, a Weekend Pass will be $69, and our VIP All Access Pass will be $99.
Tickets for the wrestling card on Saturday night will be sold separately (although a Ringside Reserved ticket is included in our VIP package,) and the event will be open to the public.
Tickets for the wrestling card will be $15 for General Admission and $25 for Ringside Reserved. Individual tickets for the wrestling card (non-VIP) will go on sale whenever the lineup is announced, or June 1, whichever comes first.
I hope everyone feels the same as me, in that the VIP Pass is a tremendous bargain. For these fanfest weekends to continue, I very much need the support and participation of everyone. This is a huge financial undertaking. I've dropped the VIP price from last time while, at the same time, increased the number of things to do. So I hope everyone will come out and support this event.

wow, I actually thought the VIP tickets would go up in price due to the wrestling card...I hope more folks attend as a result. I think Bret Hart will draw some folks that might not come otherwise. It will just take plenty of outside advertising to let people know he's there.

So if an event starts at 2, and a VIP person rolls in about 1:45 when lots of people are already in line, do they have a reserved spot in FRONT of everyone as long as they bought their tickets sooner? Do they get to cut in front of everyone?
I know my girlfriend gave me a lot of grief because of the lines last time (which started forming an hour or so before the auto sessions started). She wanted to make sure we were not behind a lot of people in line, so she held our spot in line a good hour before each session. Does this eliminate the need to get in line early?
If so, this is an EXCELLENT idea

Greg, Fanfest sounds awesome thus far. Can't wait to see the list on who'll be there. My wife and I will definitely be there. Thanks for all your hard work. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Thanks Greg, looking forward to being a vendor again. Is there going to be info on getting booked to wrestle on the Sat. show? I'm sure there are some VA indy workers who would appreciate the exposure.

Most likely, the VIP seats at the Autograph Stage will be numbered. When we have a 2 p.m. signing, we'll open the seating area 15 minutes prior and anytime during that 15 minutes you may claim your seat. Note: At this time, this numbering system will only apply to VIPs and not the other types of tickets.

I'm sure there are some VA indy workers who would appreciate the exposure. Looking forward to having you back, Tim. The Saturday show will be light on indy workers and moreso made up of TNA guys and former ECW and WWE talent, but there is a likelihood that I will be adding a second night of wrestling -- yes, a second night -- on Sunday evening that will be made up largely of indy talent looking for exposure. Any indy talent interested in that opportunity can drop me an email as we get closer.

what if you want to line up in line with friends you are meeting there but dont buy your tickets at the same times? I suppose the only fair way to do that would be to do this: Alan is #1 in line, Bobby is #20 in line, and Dick is #40 in line. If you all wanted to be together in line, it'd be necessary for Alan and Bobby to join Dick at his place in line. If someone knows of a better way, please let me know.

Can you guys help me out?
I'm just wondering how the fanfest works. I'm most likely buying the VIP ticket. And I've read that there will be Q&A on Friday night and Sunday afternoon, plus matches Saturday night.
I realize that the VIP will get you to the front of the line for autographs, but when are the autograph sessions? Are all of the guys there at once, or do they schedule guys at different times?
Do you have to pay extra for autographs?
Are there photos for sale at the event? How much are they?
What types of vendors do they have?
Any other info that you can give me will be appreciated.
Thanks

when are the autograph sessions? In the past events there were several sessions scheduled throughout Sat & Sun, each lasting 3 hours.
Are all of the guys there at once, or do they schedule guys at different times? 7-8 at a time and several different sessions
Do you have to pay extra for autographs? No, it's included in the package. As a VIP, you get 2 from each guest.
Are there photos for sale at the event? How much are they? Yes. B&W is $1 and color is $2. They are 8x10 photos.
What types of vendors do they have? In November, there was Highspots, RF Video, Wrestling Classics, George Mayfield & TAFKADixie selling all kinds of videos/dvds + many tables selling figures, old magazines etc. There was a booth selling Nikita Kolloff shirts, and at different times Harley Race, Penny Banner & Ole Anderson were at a booth selling books.

GREAT NEWS, GREG!....you know you can count me in.
I'm been to your 3 Fanfests, the Tampa Wrestling Reunion, CAC 2004, and just got back from the Monster Truck Finals in Vegas. Headed to CAC2005 in Vegas in about 3 weeks.
One thing you might try is to offer a special "pre-sale" to those that have purchased VIP tickets in the past. Good for the fans and also good for you for customer retention. Mabye a day or two ahead of the regular On-sale day.
Example, the 2005 Monster Truck Finals completed this past weekend and the 2006 Truck Finals Ticket sales start on April 1st, but because I was a VIP this year, I was able to by my ticket to the 2006 show THIS morning, nearly a week ahead and seating will be based on purchase date!
Same happend with the CAC Wrestling Reunion...last year I was at table #26, this year, I'll be at table #2 due to an early sale for VIP members, etc...
Just a thought...see you in August!
Fred, Atlanta...
