I am not trying to start any rumors, just asking for clarification.

In yesterday's CHARLOTTE OBSERVER obituaries, there was an obit for a Charles Robinson, 39, of Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Please tell me this is not our referee.


Here is the listing:

KANNAPOLIS -- Charles Preston Robinson, Jr., 39, died November 22, 2006. Funeral is 3 PM Sunday at Parkwood Baptist Church; visitation 1-3 PM. Interment in Carolina Memorial Park. Whitley's Funeral Home in charge.

just found the obit on this guy. it gave no photo i can find, but the write up told a lot about a lifelong church ionvolvment and his military history. no mention at all about anything wrestling related i noticed.

Only thing I've been able to find that would indicate otherwise here is that Charles is 42. Birthdate of July 1964. So this would seem not to be him.

Further research indicates (99%) that this is NOT referee Charles.

Thank goodness.
