Brad, thanks for sharing. Your dad was tremendous in the ring.
Michael, I know how you feel. I lost my dad more than 30 years ago. He's been with the Lord ever since. They're keeping my nephew company now (or knowing Jacob, he's keeping them company and making them laugh time and time again).

Every time I bought a ticket to see Gene Anderson wrestle I always got more than my money's worth.Gene was an excellent wrestler.I always liked the fact that even when he was being cheered by the fans he never changed the way he did things.
I was reading something the other day about Gene doing autographs. If Gene Anderson were still with us,instead of me asking him for an autograph I would just simply like to say "thank you".
I would also like to thank his son Brad for sharing memories with us.

Thirty four years ago I attended a wrestling match in Greensboro for the first time in my adult life. That night I met the most wonderful person that became my dear friend. His name was Gene Anderson. I would have some of his practical jokes pulled on me like take my shoe and throwing it into the dressing room and tell me I had to go after it (which I did not do). I truly miss him. I have seen Brad grow up to become a wonderful friend also, along with his three sons and the rest of the family. To me he was the best of the Anderson wrecking crew (sorry Ole). Love you Brad. E.
