The Nikita Koloff vs Terry Taylor TV Title unification match is sometimes really underrated....The heat these guys had coming into the match was really good........Taylor and Koloff put together a pretty good match on the show and the feud probably had some mileage after Starrcade, but Dusty started to totally dismantle the UWF and ran most of the top stars off by wanting to use them as opening match jobbers....... It is amazing that by January 1988 the only UWF guys left in the whole company were Sting, Rick Steiner, Jim Ross, the Lightning Express, and the Sheepherders...Of course the Lightning Express had only bee "loaned" to the UWF to start with.........

If you're going to include The Sheepherders you might as well include Ron Simmons as well. Both made their way to the UWF via Florida, which was also being ran by Crockett before finally dying.

...I would have much rather seen the UWF continue as a separate promotion with some crossover matches and avoid either group being a "heel organization"......Instead, both groups would have continued with heels and faces as part of their roster and then they would do joint "supershows" at events like Starrcade and the Great American Bash.........
that is the OLNY way ANY sane person would have done the UWF. so that should give you my feelings toward JCP, huh?
