There was a jobber named Randy Barber that worked under the name "The Raider" in the Mid-South and the NWA/WCW territories.

Randy Barber was a jobber on Georgia Championship Wrestling from 1981 - 1984. He got beat up by The Iron Sheik, The Road Warriors, Buzz Sawyer, Jake Roberts, The Spoiler, The Freebirds, etc.

Randy Barber sucked. He came across as some redneck who should've been paying the fans $5.00 a piece to watch him get his ass kicked.

Mike Jackson, George South, Rocky King, the Mulkey Bros, and the Italian Stallion were by far the best jobbers ever on TBS....I actually considered myself a fan of all those guys.....A great jobber made the guys in the ring look all the better and these guys always made the z"stars" look great on TV....I met Mike Jackson at a small independent show a couple years back and he was one of the absolute nicest guys I have ever met......Super cool guy just to talk to about the good old days and he also spends a lot of his time these days sharing the gospel, much like George South........Superstars in my book, no doubt.........

I loved GCW, JCP, NWA, MACW enhancement talent in the 1980s. They were great!
