Last I heard Tommy was working independents in the southeast. He wrestled in Rome, Georgia about a year ago, and rekindled his feud with with Steve"the Brawler" Lawler...I think I rad this week that Bill Dundee has a legends show coming up in Memphis and the main event is Tommy Rich & Doug Gilbert vs Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee.......Man the days of Wildfire on TBS are still vividly burned into my memory...I would go as far as to say that Tommy was to GCW what Dusty was to Florida, the Von Erichs were to Texas, Jim Duggan was to Mid South, Ricky Steamboat was to Mid Atlantic and what Jerry Lawler was to Memphis..... Dude in 1982 Rich vs Sawyer was the equivalent to 1987 Hogan vs Andre to Georgia fans........I would love to see Wildfire at the Georgia FanFest.............

Didn't Tommy have an incident at one of the reunions were he was asked to leave? I remember reading the organizer saying he wouldnt be invited back, but can't remember specifics
