Anyone remember this Sting interview?

I'm going from memory here, but I remember an early interview at the TBS studio with Sting in which he said that his friend Steve Williams had just come back from Japan and had given him a new move to use, which turned out to be the scorpion deathlock. I might be mixing up who was actually being interviewed, and it could have been Steve Williams being interviewed saying that he brought the move from Japan for Sting, with Sting wrestling at the Studio and showing the move.

Anyone remember this?

Does anyone know if Riki Choshu created the move - or did he get it from somebody else
