Have you guys seen the link on www.midatlanticwrestling.net for the newspaper article "Boogie's last dance"? It is really cool. I think Boogie will wrestle one more time at wrestle reunion in Tampa next month. He won't be coming back like Terry Funk has so many times. Check out www.americanprowrestling.com for pictures of the Christmas show in Spartansburg SC. Jimmy really did book this match 3 years ago. That promotion in SC must have a solid fan base to plan that far ahead. I'll say this, it will be hard to find local Indy shows with such a big name now.

It's hard to believe he is finally hanging up the tights. I know he will still be around signing autographs and talking to the fans but I will miss the music! Cool Cool Kitty tell us about the boy from New York City!

He still has his school in Shawsville and it appears he will still be making appearances all over the Indy circuit signing autographs. Can't wait for his book to come out in June. I can't think of anyone who has worked for so many different promotions as Jimmy has.

That article on Boogie was a very nice retrospective on the career of the legend. It was very fitting and very respectful of Valiant and wrestling as a whole. I to o am surprised that Boogie is actually hanging up the tights for good but if that is his wish, I wish him nothing but the very best in all future endeavors.

Jimmy Valiant is a class act. I have a close friend who was trained by Jimmy, and introduced as several years ago. I hope he has a happy retirement, he has definitely earned it.

Jimmy used to bleed like crazy - especially when he was with Bobby Heenan
Anybody seen the old dressing room photos with him, Heenan and Baron Von Raschke bleeding all over the place ?

Saw and talked to Jimmy this past Saturday night at the CWF Night of Legends card; he was a pleasure to talk to, and looked a little different without the trademark beard. He was entertaining as always, and a lot of fun. Best Wishes, Boogie !

I still think his fued with Paul Jones was one of the best ever. I still hear the crowd now, "Bald Headed Geek!, Bald Headed Geek!".

"Paul Jones, I'm gonna put my heart, my soul, and every hair on my head against the Assassins masks."
I remember feeling legit concern that Valiant was going to lose his hair to the Assassins. I still have my mesh hat from Boogie Man Jam '84. I am also a card carrying member of the Boogie Woogie Brigade. I never did reap any benefits from being a member, but the card is cool.

Man, that feud went on forever!!! I thought it was never gonna end. The funniest thing I saw during their war was the picture Paul Jones showed on tv, of what Big Momma would look like bald!!!

Big Momma had a head? I never made it past her more than ample bosom.
Jimmy Valiant's one true love turned out to be his "Old Lady" - the hickory ax handle that made numerous appearances on World Wide.
