I got to see several heel vs. heel matches in the sixties but this match is one I would have really loved to have seen. Lars Anderson had returned to join Ole and Gene during the summer of 1969. This card was held on Sept.9,1969 at the Charleston, West Virginia Civic Center.  |

BOGNI & LUBICH vs THE INFERNOS
HAWK & HANSEN vs THE INFERNOS
UNMASKED RED DEMONS vs BOGNI & LUBICH
BRUTE BERNARD & SKULL MURPHY vs BOGNI & LUBICH
THE GREAT MALENKO & MISSOURI MAULER vs LARS & GENE ANDERSON (jobbers at the time)

The one I wanted to see the most, took place before I ever
got the chance to attend a live event.That was Skull Murphy
and Brute Bernard against the Great Bolo and Bolo.At Least
I got to see the angles and interviews on the tv shows.
Skull Murphy seemed to always be calling out one of the other
heel teams. It was during these interviews that Brute Bernard
would work himself in to a bigger frenzy than usual.
