is that george grant the same that went around as the so-called evangelist, gorgeous george grant?

I don't know about the evangelist part but he was known as Gorgeous George Grant in other territories.He did double duty for Jim Crockett as a referee and wrestling on tv and working opening matches in arenas.Much the same as Johnny Heideman and Angelo Martinelli did in the twilight of their career's.
