Don Chuy and Joe Carrollo were teammates on the Los Angeles Rams who wrestled during the off season.
They had a great feud in JCP against THE INFERNOS, in which Don and Joe were permitted to wear their Ram football helmets during the matches to counteract THE INFERNO's loaded boot.
Of course, THE INFERNOS then kicked them in the stomach.

You are exactly right about that Bolo.I looked back through some of my tv listings and found that the Saturday before the event (5/27/67) Don Chuy and Joe Carollo wrestled Aldo Bogni and Bronco Lubich on the show that aired on WBTV 3 and WBTW 13.It seems more likely that one of them may have wrestled Jesse James and the other wrestled Jan Madrid.I just can't remember them having a falling out during that tv match to set up a meeting between the two in Florence the following Tuesday. It could have happened though.

No. I guess both shows were airing in South Carolina at the time and they just used the title's of the show to promote the card.Same thing happened when JCP returned to West Virginia during the summer of 1976.In the newspaper ads it was billed as "Wide World Wrestling",the title of the show hosted by Ed Capral.
