Beginning Sept.10,1966 WGHP's "Championship Wrestling"
hosted by Charlie Harville,was split in to two thirty minute
shows airing at 7 and 11 p.m. on Saturday nights. Jan.7,1967
was the last time it aired as two separate shows.Here are the
match listings I have found so far from newspaper archives and
old TV Guide's.

On Jan.14,1967, "Championship Wrestling" returned to the
one hour format. I will be listing more of those later.

A great job of research.

Not very difficult to pick out who the winners were.

Thanks greatbolo. A little bit of trivia from those listings here,
both Tinker Todd (aka Ray St. Clair) and Don Kent did stints
with Al Costello as the Fabulous Kangaroos but not in JCP.
I believe JCP was the only area where one of the Von Stroheim's
was known as Henry.IIRC Pedro Godoy and El Gaucho (Juan
Sebastian) later wrestled for the WWWF as the Masked Russian's
and Nikita Mulkovitch was their manager there.

A young Bobby Shane wrestling here as a face did pretty well
with tag team partners such as Klondike Bill and Don Kent.

Bobby Shane was on the rise here with JCP during the mid 1960's when I attended a number of TV tapings at WBTV Charlotte.

One TV match I recall was Bobby and Paul DeMarco (JCP teamed them for a while as two of the "young lions") against Rip and Swede.

Rip and Swede put Bobby and Paul over (albeit DQ) to set up a Park Center program.

Paul didn't hang around as long as Bobby (believe he went North), and then the next time I was at a WBTV taping, Bobby was then teaming with Klondike.
