Got this ad during the last trip Steve and I made to the library in Winston-Salem.During the latter part of the sixties Dick Bennick aka Dr. Paul Bearer had a Saturday afternoon teen dance party show on WGHP that featured local area garage bands. Something else he featured from time to time before the show started or after commercial breaks were short clips of wrestlers from JCP applying holds. The one that stands out in my memory the most is Bronco Lubich putting the cobra hold on his partner Aldo Bogni.I was also a big fan of Shock Theatre which initially aired on Friday nights before moving to Saturday night around 1967.

Good ol Bronco Lubich. I remember him in the 1980s in World Class Championship Wrestling as a referee.
What was "The Most Deadly Game?"

I never watched the "Deadly Game" RowdyRoddy,so I don't know what the show was about. In 1970 after "Championship Wrestling" went off the air at 7:30 p.m. I was headed out the door to go on a date.

Google'd it and came up with this: The Most Deadly Game on ABCCWH, did Lubich and Bogni have a falling out, or was Bronco just demonstrating the hold?
