Happy Birthday Rip Hawk!

I would like to wish Rip Hawk a happy birthday today.

Maybe we can share some of our favorite Rip Hawk memories
today.One of mine is how Rip would always tease Charlie
Harville on tv by thanking Charlie for all his support and for
being one of Rip and Swede's biggest fan's.

Another is how Rip was always so cool and calm,hardly ever
raising his voice during his interviews.

Thank you for all the great memories Rip!

I second the birthday wishes Rip. I sent you an e-mail last week, but it was returned for whatever reason.

I had breakfast with you and Johnny Weaver in Charlotte last year at FANFEST, and it was a true delight.

I wish I had a dime for every one of your great matches I had the pleasure to witness.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS, and I hope you can return to FANFEST in Charlotte next year.

I only got to see Rip very briefly before he left Crockett for the IWA. My lasting memoriesof Rip are him giving Swede Hanson a hard time (after their split) and being Ric Flair's uncle, lol.

I've been able to learn more thanks to rare clips of audio and video and know that I missed out on seeing one of the all time greats.

Does anyone know exactly how old the great Rip Hawk is? On his profile page on obsessedwithwrestling.com it lists his birthday as June 6, 1921, and if that's the case he is 85 years old. Surely he isn't that old, is he?
