The first card I ever attended was in the old Charlotte Coliseum. I was about 10 or so. I would love to know the full card and results if anyone knows. I remember the following: Johnny Weaver and Dory Funk, Jr. wrestled to a draw for the NWA Title. The Masked Marvels had to unmask. George Becker and someone beat Hawk and Hanson and Becker got 5 minutes with Playboy Gary Hart. A lot of blood from Hart. If anyone knows the rest that would great.

cwh47, thanks for the info. Even though I went to every card in Greensboro during the mid to late 70s, that card in Charlotte still sticks out in my mind. The Funk-Weaver match was classic. It was the second greatest match I ever saw. The first was Valentine beating Race in Greensboro for the US Title. When the Masked Marvels lost, I remember their refusing to remove their masks. The PA announcer said if they didn't take off their masks they would be banned. They both yanked off their hoods and no one had a clue who they were. Then they announced their identities and still no one had a clue who they were. It seems like the match was mask vs. hair but I'm not sure. In regards to the Becker-Hart match, I thought Hawk and Hanson had to lose for that match to happen. Any way, great card. Thanks again. Butcher
