Johnny Weaver and George Becker defended the Southern Tag Team Title many times on TV in the mid to late 60's. *Please note this title defense took place over 4 months after Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson were introduced as the Atlantic Coast Tag Team Champions. This cofirms that both of these tag team titles were defended in JCP in 1968-1969. Many fans have believed that the Southern Tag Title was renamed the Atlantic Coast Tag Team Title. That was just not the case.
