Did Art Nielson ( or Art Nelson) ever wrestle as a baby face against the Anderson Brothers tag team ( Gene and Ole)? If so who were his partners or most frequent partners?

Art Nelson teamed with Johnny Weaver.Though they got
cheered as the face team Art never changed his style.He
made it clear in tv interviews he would never do so.

Art Nelson first teamed up with Gene Anderson around
March 1971.Ole was out of the area that year.In Nov.
1971,Gene and Art wrestled Rip Hawk and Swede
Hanson on tv.Playboy Gary Hart interfered in this
match starting a feud with Art Nelson.Johnny Weaver
was also feuding with Hart,Hawk and Hanson.This was
one of the factors that eventually brought Art and
Johnny together as a team in early 1972.

When Ole returned to the area around the spring of
1972 he and Gene were cheered depending on who
their opponents were.When they beat Kurt and Karl
Von Steiger in Greensboro the ovation was fantastic.

After Art Nelson and Johnny Weaver won the Atlantic
Coast tag belts from Missouri Mauler and Brute Bernard,
the Anderson's went after the belts.They won them
from Art and Johnny in March,1973 at the Winston-Salem
Coliseum.

I think that I remember the match you were speaking of when Hart, Hawk and Hanson turned on Art. I seem to remember it being on T.V. and it was the first time I ever remember seeing blood on T.V.
