Does anyone have any old 8 mm footage of the Royal Kangaroos/Weaver, Nelson.
Does anyone have any interesting stories that occured in Richmond Va, pre 1974 at the State Fairgrounds?

The videos that are sold on ebay have 1970's arena
footage Johnny Weaver and Art Nelson in tag matches.
When you look at the match listings you will see it says
Weaver/Becker.That is incorrect.
The first match lists Weaver/Becker vs.Hawk/Hanson.It
is actually a match from late 1972 or early 1973 with
Weaver/Nelson vs.Hawk/Hanson with manager Homer
O'Dell.
The second match is listed as Weaver/Becker vs.
Brute Bernard and ?.This is a 1973 match of Weaver/
Nelson vs.Brute Bernard and Jay York.

Weaver/Nelson brings back some memories!
I also think that Johnny Weaver used to tag with
Nelson Royal also.
Does anyone know the name of the tag team
that they wrestled against?
They were German and both of them would goose
step around they ring as they gave out a nazi
salute with their hand.

That time period, it was more than likely Kurt and Karl Von Stroheim.
The Von Brauners were in JCP much earlier.
