I was watching the house show, in Greensboro, which features Rick Steamboat/Jay Youngblood vs. Sgt. Slaughter/Don Kernodle in the steel cage in March 1983 recently on DVD. During that card, they kept on hyping up a card on Easter Sunday, April 3rd. Did anyone attend that card? How was it? Here are the match results...
Sunday, April 3rd, 1983 Greensboro, NC Jimmy Valiant/Bugsy McGraw/Andre The Giant beat Greg Valentine/One Man Gang/Sir Oliver Humperdink Dick Slater beat Roddy Piper Jack Brisco/Jerry Brisco beat Dory Funk Jr./Paul Jones Sgt Slaughter/Don Kernodle/The Great Kabuki beat Jim Nelson/Rick Steamboat/Jay Youngblood Mike Rotundo beat Gene Anderson Jake Roberts beat Vinny Valentino Red Dog Lane beat Mike Davis

i was there. well look a the lineup. it was great wasn't it? the choice of kabuki with slaughter-kernodle still makes no sense.

Looking at that, wouldn't it have made more sense to flip-flop Kabuki and Greg Valentine? Seems that way to me.
