sure seemed funny watching so many people go up and ask jackie for an autograph. i mean, he was jsut a camera guy to most. yet he was part of the family. one of the biggest in the business, i must add. to me he is no ccelebrity so i wonder are people interested in him because of his camera ability or because of his last name? either way though, he was having a great time and so was everyone else. he sure was good on the camera. i always joked about him having the camera on the good looking women in the crowd. that dog. ;D

I think Jack Crockett was as familiar a face to die hard Crockett wrestling fans as anyone else. Everyone knew who he was; the world's most famous camera man!

Hi guys,
New to the board but I have followed things on the KF Board for over a year.
I had the chance to talk with Jackie for about 15 minutes and he had some great stories. I really enjoyed when he was telling me how the only day that everyone had off was Sunday. All of the wrestlers and their wives/husbands would gather at the Crockett house on Lake Norman. They would go out on boats and just lounge around. He said that different wrestlers were known for bringing/cooking different dishes. Blackjack was famous for bringing bbq and one of the oriental wrestlers (help me out, I can't remember the name he said) would bring sushi and stir fry food. I bet some of the guys have some great stories about those gatherings.
He also said that when his first experience with the business was when his dad had him selling programs at some of the very early events. He said that no one was buying any, and since they were only good for that night, he took boxes of them home with him. Now they're worth a mint!!
Maybe it's just the thought of him being involved in our favorite era of the business and part of the greatest family in the business, but I know that I had a great time talking with him and plan on doing it again, if given the opportunity.

Don't know about Jackie, but I bumped into david at a card in Fayetteville and knew I had time for one question. I chose to ask him about the mid-atlantic tag title which to me had been dormant for about six months. He rolls his eyes and walks away. As a thirteen year old it kind of hurt my feelings.
