Where can I find Freedom Hall results/line ups from Johnson City, TN? Is there a website or does anybody have any results from this area? My feeble mind can't remember all of the matches from 20+ years ago. Also, there were some cards held in Boone, NC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The public library in those towns will be your best bet in finding those results.Searching newspaper archives can be fun but also time consuming. When I was searching for the spot shows held in my area beginning in 1968,I found it takes a lot of time when the shows were few and far between. So far I have found some of the shows from Mount Airy,Dobson and Pilot Mountain but there are still more out there.

Thanks, SOH! That's true. Our very own, Dick Bourne, met Tony Atlas at Dobyns Bennett High School back in 1978 at a Mid-Atlantic house show.

Thanks for mentioning Dobyns-Bennett HS, Sir Oliver! My old high school alma-mater! Crockett started running shows there in 1978 off of TV in nearby Bristol VA. Tansu, the buidling was reffered to by the locals as the "Dobyns-Bennett Dome" or the "DB Dome". Here is a photo taken at the DB Dome, from the first Crockett show there in 1978. Main event was Flair-Steamboat for Steamboat's US title. The photo was taken by my buddy Roger Carico.
