I have read of so many classic venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic territory on the gateway. However, one that has been left out for the most part is the old County Hall in Charleston,SC. As a child, I had the pleasure of being in that old building every Friday night for wrestling. It didn't matter who was the main event the place was full all the time. During that time frame of the late 70s and early 80s, I can recall seeing Mr. Wrestling 2 -vs- Mr. Fuji in a cage match and the rest of the card was only mid-card talent. It didn't matter. The place was just as packed for that as it would be if Flair was on the bill. I wish somebody on the board could produce some old photos or line-ups from this venue, or maybe share stories of it. After seeing wrestling there for so long, it makes you appreciate how good MACW was.
