Hello everybody. Been a long time since I've posted, but I'm glad to be back.
As for my question, it seems Crockett almost had a distictive ring for every city. You can easilly recognize places like Greensboro and Spartanburg just by looking at the ring. This is a topic that has come up a few times when talking to various people and seems to bring back some good memories.
I remember here in Richmond, at least in my days in the early/mid 80's, we had the ring w/ one side of blue posts/turnbuckles, and the other with the red posts/turnbuckles. Our apron was the dark blue w/ yellow NWA block letters, and had the yellow and orange stiripe at the top and bottom.
I'm like George South, and can remember getting to the Coliseum early just to look at the ring. Thought I'd throw this out there to you guys.
