I posted this question in another thread, not even thinking I could go right to the source on this one A frind of mine told me Tully Blanchard used theme music at Starrcade 85, and said he had used other songs from time to time as well. Do you recall him using any theme music? I am a HUGE fan of his (and you of course *wink*), and I remember music was never really his thing.

This is one of the hardest questions I have been asked. I really don't remember Tully and I having music at Starrcade. There were times when music was used and we had a chance to put in our opinion of what we wanted. The video where Tully mets me at the airport I changed the music from Bob Segar's "Watch her Strut" to Motley Crues' "Looks That Kill". I was really into the Crue at that time and was thrilled that they used that music in the video.

I remember there being music too, but if I remember correctly, I think a lot of the wrestlers had music that night, and most of them had the same music, so it may have been just something generic that either JCP used at the time, or WWE put in for the 24/7 broadcast of it.

I do recall the generic theme music. I think that is when the recording artists were starting to ask that their music not be used for theme music unless a fee was paid. Crockett wanted to try and use music that he wouldn't have to pay an extra fee to use. At one time, heard that one group had specifically asked a wrestler not to use their music even though he was very well known.

Well, considering I heard "Far From Over" more times in Crockett TV then I did on the actual radio, I'm sure Frank Stallone was just happy that somebody actually played the song.
