Hey Everybody, Just thought I would share with all of you some very exciting information. I just finished working out the details with TNT wrestling promotions on appearing in their upcoming wrestling shows.. Oct 14 in Portsmouth, Va I will be in the corner of the Rock and Roll Express as they take on Jim Coronette's Midnite Xpress. Oct 28 is Waynesboro, Va., Dec. 2 I will be at Penn Laird, Va., and Dec. 9 I will be in Fredricksburg, Va. I am soooo excited about getting to work against Coronette.. been a long time and he is one of the all time greats.. Not to mention the rest of the shows... Hey Doll, I'll never forget watching MACW that Saturday and seeing you for the first time walk off that jet...just wanted you to know just how much we remember. Look forward to seeing you in Fredericksburg. God bless.

I'd love to, but am scheduled to preach at a youth rally with Redskins coach Joe Gibbs that night. Besides, I have never heard of Penn Laird? Do you know where it is or a town it is nearby?

I think it is about 30 miles North of Waynesboro..

Yeah, Penn Laird is not far from Harrisonburg, Va., a former NWA/WCW town. Spotswood High School is huge. I covered a few basketball games in that gym.
Also, interesting note, and too bad it's not closer in date, but ECW will be in Fredericksburg on Dec. 18. If it were the week earlier, it might've made for an interesting double-shot. But it also could hurt ticket sales, though I doubt it, too different crowds.

So are you 2 going to be in Waynesboro? I won't be able to stay for the matches though cause I'm going to get back to DC for a wild Halloween party. Baby Doll: You'll see!! |

Hey Everybody....got to say I had another great weekend with My Guys...Waynesboro had a good strong house(best crowd I have seen for an INDIE) the crowd was really into the show..finally recovered enough to let you guys know how it went.
It was a blast to see Scott Hall and Sean W., They both were in great shape and were very friendly to everybody. When they saw me they came over and gave me big hugs. I had never met Scott before so it was really nice he knew who I am...
I had not seen Sean since we were at the Sportatorium in Dallas back in like late 91 ...
at the time I thought he had strange wrestling boots
( he had the kickboxing boots on I think)...
Getting to Richmond was a complete hassle but once I got there it was great...
From my surprise at the airport to the whole weekend.
The Ward Family Promotions put on a solid and entertaining wrestling show and I was treated like a star and a celebrity the whole time...I like it that they try and give the crowd more of an 80's type wrestling show with more wrestling than entrances and exits...
