gotta welcome you here as well. i didn't get the chance to speak with you in rockville, but i did see you from afar. been quite a while since we spoke. it was at the charlotte park centre where they were doing a benefit for the local youth basketball organiztion. some of the JCP personalities made appearances. me and the friend that was with me talked to you a bit about rod stewart, KISS, and motley crue, because you used to wear those t-shirts on tv. we knew you were cool to like that combination, we liked them too. take care, maybe i'll see you around.

Hello to everyone and thanks for inviting me to your forum...This is really exciting for me to be able to answer your questions about my wrestling experiences...I want to personally thank Greg for the outstanding job he has done in bringing all of the legendary wrestling talent together for his Autograph/Reunion Shows. You guys have no idea how insane it is to book 30 wrestlers, book flights, hotels, photo ops, travel fiascos(just think that at the Rockville show our country was at a peak code red/orange danger level) plus dealing with all of our personality quirks and handling the questions and problems of the thousands of attending wrestling sport fans. I helped with my Dad's wrestling promotion back in Lubbock, Texas. So, I have somewhat of an idea of what is expected but G.P. makes sure that we are all taken care of in both business and personal matters. I look forward to the questions and comments you have for me. Don't hold back. If you are wondering if you should ask a question just remember that my 13 and 15 yr. old daughters may read your post. Otherwise anything about life in Lubbock, World Class, Crockett, Sam and his eccentric family and even life as it is today is open for comments and questions. I especially want to hear about your memories, if you saw me work in person, if I did anything goofy both in and out of the ring, and of course how you liked the Fanfest experience. Thanks again Greg for letting me have this space.

Thanks for coming on the boards, we really appreciate it. Ok, myself being probably THEE biggest MX mark on the planet, I have 2 questions for you Babydoll?
1st)Who's idea was it to have you "fill in" for Cornette as the MX's manager when he was injured, and did you enjoy it? it seemed weird to see you against the MX one week as a face, and then managing them the next as a heel.
2nd) When Cornette would do promo's on Dusty, did you find yourself having to stop from laughing? I remember seeing you start to smile a little when Cornette says to Dusty: "THat's a nice hat! Did you get a free bowl of soup with that hat?" You almost lose it. And, is there any heat between you and Jimmy?
Thanks......Do you talk to Jake Roberts at all?

You are going to think this as strange but I do remember you.. Sam and I had a great time that afternoon playing BB with the kids. Dusty, Magnum, Flair had donated a bunch of money so they could get their own teams and furnish them with uniforms, shoes, equipment etc... I was making good money but not enough to sponsor a whole team so instead Sam and I volunteered our time. There are quite a few pictures of that afternoon in one of Crockett's programs.

How was it during the summer and fall of 1984 being in World Class Championship Wrestling with Jake Roberts, Chris Adams, and Gino Hernandez? Any good stories about your time there??? I started WCW the Sunday before Labor Day at the Joe Harry Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. So I guess I just had my 21st anniversary. I had the time of my life getting in the business. Not only did I get to work with the guy I had the biggest crush on(Gino)but I got to work with one of the true mind genius's in this business. Jake could work a crowd just by standing there motionless. Unfortunately because of his weaknesses a lot of fans did not get to experience his true charisma and ability to "work" a crowd. Jake and I were booked in Gainesville ,Tx. We were standing in the ring out on the High School football field when some guys at the top of the bleachers started yelling "Aurelian, hey Aurelian". I looked at Jake and said "who is Aurelian". He looked really embarrassed and said it was him.. You see Jake is really Aurelian Smith, Jr. those guys had gone to school with Jake back when he lived in Gainesville with his mom. A few minutes later I got sent back to the dressing room because I got pushed down at the beginning of the match and ripped the seat out of my pants and had to leave rather unexpectedly..

I am not sure who directly thought of the idea to bring me in but I was thankful to get out of Kansas. At the time I got the call I was living in Kansas City and appearing at shows that had maybe 30 to 50 people in the audience. I was so discouraged because they would be selling the window posters in the concession for 50cents. Shoot you couldn't draw a house with Jesus Christ if no one knew he was going to be there... Everything that came out of Jimmy's mouth was classic..it was so hard to keep from busting out loud that you don't know how hard it was...even Dusty and Tully would say things that got me to snickering.. Thanks......Do you talk to Jake Roberts at all? The last time I talked to Jake was at the Autograph/Wrestling Show last year in Tampa
