It would be great if Roddy is healthy enough by August to be able to attend the Fanfest. Has anybody heard anything about how his recovery is going? I just got his 4 disc DVD set and he seems like a great guy. I'd really like to meet him.
Has anybody here met him? How does he treat his fans who ask for his autograph or a picture? Does he spend any time talking to you or does he just sign something quickly and that's it?

i met him last year at the big waynesboro show. granted, i was next to last in a huge line. after that huge line, he was still gracious enough to speak with us momentarily, sign my book, take the polaroid, took another shot with my own camera, and sing another item.
i couldn't have asked for more, considering he had over 200 people in that line to go through.

I had the oppurtunity to meet Roddy back in November of 2002. It was at a book signing in Columbus, OH. He was a very nice man and he took the time to socialize with you and give you his full attention. I'd love to meet him again actually.

I hope he is well enough to do the show. There is a horror con in TX that claims Roddy is doing their show in March. He'd be an awesome guest to get.

I meet him in Tampa not long ago and he probley signed 15 pictures for me and took pics and was just one of the nicest wrestlers I have ever met.

I worship Roddy Piper. I met him once before, and I'll never forget it. My friend and I met him at Chiller 2004. It was a Batman reunion, but the real reason we went is to meet Roddy (ok and Julie Newmar). I had waited for years to meet him, and he didn't let me down. I would love to meet him again. GREG, BOOK RODDY!!!!!!!!!!
After meeting him, it's hard to accept him when he plays a heel on tv sometimes. I don't know if that's good or bad.
