Rich Landrum Interview On The Mid-Atlantic Gateway

By the end of this week, we anticipate having Rich Landrum's interview posted on the Mid-Atlantic Gateway. There is currently a link on the Gateway's main page to a hilarious excerpt from the interview that is on Blackjack's BBQ...about Rich selling Blackjack a white Cadillac! There is also now a neat new audio greeting from Rich on the Gateway's main page.

I believe this is one of the Gateway's best interviews ever, and I encourage everybody here to check it out. After reading the interview, you'll have thought you were just on the set of World Wide Wrestling!

I want to thank Rich for all the time he spent with me on this interview. It was a true pleasure for me, and it was so much fun...many, many thanks, Rich!

As you will be reading about in the interview, Rich is working on bringing an "old school" style wrestling event back to Richmond this fall. Please stay tuned to the Gateway for more information on this as the time gets closer.

Once again, David Chappell has done an "off-the-charts" job with his interview with Rich Landrum.

Ten pages long on the GATEWAY, and I wish it could have been ten pages more.

Completely engrossing from start-to-finish.

Like the rest of us, 'The Voice' has had his trials and tribulations over the years; Voice has managed to triumph over life's bumps. In the age where wrestlers are dying at a younger age than ever before, it's nice to know that people like 'Mr. TV Announcer' and Blackjack Mulligan can beat the odds and live nice long productive lives after wrestling.

Rich, great interview! I hope that life treats you well.

Thanks folks for all the nice things you said about the interview and your words of encouragement.

When David Chappell asked me to do the interview I was thrilled. He said normally it takes about 1 1/2 hours to do one. However, this one went a little over 3 hours. Either David couldn't shut me up or he enjoyed what I had to say.

David and his wife welcomed me into their lovely home that Sunday afternoon and made me feel completely at home. However, their dog "Killer" didn't take to me to well.

My thanks to them and Dick Bourne for having me on the Mid Atlantic Gateway.

I hope that everyone who took the time to read the interview enjoyed it and perhaps got a little more insight into the world of JCP during that time period.
