Before I start thinking about who I'd want to see, I'm curious to know if the "NWA" brand is going to be the focus, or if there is going to be more of a "melting pot" of talent.

I would think that since the Capitol Legends Fest was not solely WWWF or WWF talent (fairly evenly balanced between AWA, NWA, and WWF), even though it was WWWF territory, then the same holds true here. Maybe it will be more like 14 NWA/9 WWF/7 AWA, but I don't think it will be skewed ridiculously...

The August 2007 fanfest will focus on the NWA, hence the name NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest. But there may be a few "outsiders." Thanks!

I was thinking more of how the first few fanfests were done with strictly NWA based talent vs. bringing in "outsiders" like last year in Charlotte, while still focusing heavy on the "NWA" label like you mentioned. But thanks for clarifying, Greg.

if Greg brings in THE OUTSIDERS I will mark out. I was a big mark for the NWO. Hall and Nash were awesome back in the day.

hey, if you come, you get to meet great people like me ;D seriously, hope you can come. my friend that came found a better deal by flying into newark and taking a train to washington for this last fanfest. charlotte is one of the more expensive places to fly into. maybe you can find a better deal like he did by checking out other options like arrival cities, trains, and such. he saved, i think he said close to $100 by doing it that way. No no no - I saved like $700 or something ridiculous by flying into Newark. It would've workedout perfectly except....it wasn't a good day to be flying out of London....

come up with something new like play by play with a legend and put it on DVD so we can take it home with us That's a great idea - imagine calling a match with Corny or Heenan or even Nulty or Chris Cruise!! That's a great souvenir, plus you get to formally interact with the legend - unless you say 'Hi' in the auto-queue or manage to strike up a conversation with a Legend in the hallway (when they are usually just trying to get a break or lunch after signing stuff / standing up for photo opps for a couple of hours) you don't often times get a formal chance to speak with a legend. It wouldn't even have to be with someone who was a commentator - it could be with a wrestler talking through one of their old matches....

The only thing I disagree with is....after all the Dusty talk of the last few years, wouldn't it just be the apotheosis of hilarity to have Big Dust do a Q&A?
