Mr. Eadie,
I don't want to ask a question that may be too personal but I wondered how your health is after the years you've put in wrestling rings? The reason I ask is because a lot of the wrestlers I grew up watching I'm starting to find out are having joint replacements left and right. I know you discussed in an interview that I read that you only suffered one major injury in your career. *I believe a broken leg*
My other question is related to injuries. I was wondering how you or other wrestlers dealt with the pain i.e. did you get used to the abuse night in and night out? And if that's the case how are/were you able to tell the difference between pain and hurt?
Once again thank you for the answers you have supplied to myself and the rest of us.

Mike,
Please excuse the mistake in the above message. I am in my office and I am watching my little 10 month old grandson. He was sitting on my lap and wanted to do some typing. I guess he thought it was good enough to send to you.
Back to the answer. My health is fine. I have the usual aches and pains but I came out better than most. I never had a broken leg thank goodness. I did have knee surgery. Some other injuries but all in all very lucky for all the trauma we go thru.
I think you sort of get used to the pain to a degree. You never like it but you realize it part of the business. I have a rather high pain tolerance level. Some guys do some don't. You must be careful not to take pain medications that completely dull all pain. Then you fool yourself into thinking your 100%. That leads to the possible pushing your body too much during an injury. That will lead to major problems and could be a career ender. You have to remember that pain is the bodies alarm to you that something is wrong.
