Questions and a Thank You for The Masked Superstar

I am hoping you can clarify a memory for me please. I seem to remember that on a TBS show of GCW, that either Mr. Wrestling II or you got unmasked, but before you could really see the face, the person got under the ring and then got a towel or something and spirited away to the back. I believe it was you but hope you could explain who it was and how it all came about.

I also must tell you that reading and learning more about your career has been an extreme pleasure. I use to never consider myself a fan of yours but to be realistic I was and am. I realized that while being a HUGE Mr. Wrestling #2 fan, that I will and have always associated him with you. That fued is one of the best ever in my opinion. Your work as the Heel was incredible. I want to thank you for all the memories and years of entertainment. You are truly a gifted person.

I would also like to ask for your insight or anyone elses on why there are no Masked Wrestlers now like Mr. Wrestling II, The Assassin, and yourself in the current wrestling product? Or is it believed that would not work anymore?

Lastly on a personal note, are you still selling some of your masks as I have seen posted before? Thank you so much for your time.

Thank you so much for the nice comments. I believe it was 2 that had his mask taken off by me at ringside during TV taping TBS.

As to the mask gimmick, yes I think it could work but the only one using it is a small baby face. I think it would do well to have a big mean heel again. NOTHING REALLY NEW IN WRESTLING JUST HOW YOU DO IT !!!

As to purchase of masks , Yes, I still have some .

I had remembered this match as a kid and when I seen it for sale I had to get it. It started off with a masked Mr. X taking on Mr.Wrestling2(with the Masked Superstar at ring side). It ended with the Superstar jurking at 2's mask. Not from the back or chin but rather from the top. The mask came off and 2 hid under the ring. Then the Masked Superstar gave a superb interview while holding 2's mask.
